Peter comes to Pelorus Real Estate with extensive experience within the real estate and financial services sectors, having held senior positions among real estate service providers in Wellington and Auckland, namely S George Nathan & Co; Hitchcock Realty Brokers, Realty Brokers and Colliers International from the mid 1970's.  He has also held executive management positions with Colliers in Indonesia (1991) and Hong Kong (1993).

During his time with Colliers in Asia, Peter was directly involved in transactions involving property development, real estate operating companies, partnerships and investment funds throughout New Zealand, Australia, USA, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. In particular, he settled several private Asian investor acquisitions of North American real estate as well as Asian inter-regional equity placements into real estate owning partnerships and companies.
 
In 1995 Peter was appointed Managing Director of the U.S. based Kennedy-Wilson Asian operations. In this role he was introduced to North American markets and the mutual fund/property trust financial services business.
 
Peter has in depth knowledge and high achievements in real estate marketing, consultancy and investment management within the commercial, industrial, shopping centre and hospitality real estate sectors. He has also gained firsthand experience in the restructuring of real estate fund products, non performing loans, trusts and other investment vehicles.
